The sun sets, signifying the day’s rest from its labors–another day for thanksgiving of simple pleasures and provisions. The shepherd girl bows her head toward the field of dandelions. Instead of a wish, she makes a prayer as the soft breeze carries it along with the pappi messengers. Like her flock, she is a sheep in her Shepherd’s care, whose ear is ever tuned to her bleating prayers. In this peace, she lies down and rests with the day.
